Using SmartVersion Files for Version Control

SmartVersion lends itself perfectly for use as a version control system. You may store multiple versions of your product files inside a SmartVersion File. Just follow these steps:

1. Create an Empty Patch and include your first product version in this patch.

2. Add New Versions to this new patch, as you generate new versions of your product. For instance, if you are working on a book, add a new version each time you make changes to the script.

Your SmartVersion File will contain all versions of your product in a highly compressed and optimized form. You can then extract any desired version, just like in a version control system, and work with that version.
